What if I can’t get a family member to accept the need for Treatment?     A: Come yourself! Addiction is a Family Disease, with all members affected. By understanding the disease and treating yourself, you also increase the likelihood of your loved one accepting treatment. Therapists often start with willing family members first. This frequently results in the alcoholic or addict being attracted to Recovery by the positive changes they perceive in others.
